Display & Design

The iPhone 18 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2622 × 1206 pixels at 460 ppi. It supports ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, Always-On display, HDR, True Tone, wide colour (P3), and Haptic Touch. Outdoor peak brightness reaches up to 3,000 nits.

Apple has also redesigned the Dynamic Island to create additional room for information. It can display up to three Live Activities simultaneously while continuing to integrate with Face ID.

The phone uses an aluminium unibody design, Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, and Ceramic Shield on the back. It is available in Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy.

A20 Pro Performance

The iPhone 18 Pro is powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip, manufactured using a 2-nanometre process.

It features a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators, and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine with 32 total Neural Engine cores. Hardware-accelerated ray tracing is also supported for demanding graphics and gaming workloads.

The A20 Pro is designed for intensive gaming, professional photo and video editing, computational photography, and advanced on-device AI workloads.

Apple Intelligence & Siri AI

The iPhone 18 Pro supports the latest generation of Apple Intelligence, including Siri AI.

Apple says the new Siri AI is designed to be more personal, conversational, and capable of using contextual information across supported experiences. Availability of individual AI features can vary according to language, region, and software version.

Next-Generation Thermal Management

The iPhone 18 Pro introduces a redesigned next-generation vapour chamber with three times the surface area of the previous generation.

Combined with the thermal architecture of A20 Pro, Apple says the system can provide up to 40% better sustained performance than iPhone 17 Pro, helping during demanding gaming, AI, video, and professional workloads.

48MP Pro Fusion Camera System

The iPhone 18 Pro features an advanced triple-camera system with all three rear cameras using 48MP sensors:

• 48MP Fusion Main
• 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide
• 48MP Fusion Telephoto

This camera system provides a wide range of focal lengths for portraits, landscapes, macro photography, travel photography, and professional content creation.

48MP Variable Aperture Main Camera

One of the biggest upgrades is the new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture.

It provides four aperture settings: ƒ/1.48, ƒ/1.8, ƒ/2.8, and ƒ/4.0. The aperture can automatically adjust based on lighting and depth of field, while supported Pro controls allow photographers to adjust aperture manually.

A wider aperture can help in low light and provide shallower depth of field, while a narrower aperture can keep more elements of a scene in focus.

Pro Camera Controls

The iPhone 18 Pro introduces expanded Pro controls inside the Camera app.

Users can manually adjust settings including lens aperture, shutter speed, and white balance, and can use a histogram to evaluate exposure.

This provides photographers and creators with more direct control over how an image is captured.

Ultra Wide, Macro & Telephoto

The 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera has a 13mm focal length and supports high-resolution Ultra Wide and 48MP Macro photography.

The 48MP Fusion Telephoto camera provides a native 4x Telephoto view, while the camera system also enables an 8x optical-quality Telephoto option. Digital zoom extends up to 40x.

The Main camera additionally provides an optical-quality 2x Telephoto option.

18MP Center Stage Front Camera

The iPhone 18 Pro features an 18MP Center Stage front camera.

It supports Center Stage for photos and video calls, ultra-stabilised video, Dual Capture, and flexible framing for selfies and group photos.

Professional Video Recording

The iPhone 18 Pro supports Dolby Vision video recording up to 4K at 120fps, making it suitable for high-quality slow-motion and professional video production.

Apple also includes professional photography and video capabilities alongside ProRAW and advanced computational imaging. The updated system introduces improved low-light video and the ability to apply supported Cinematic effects after capture.

Connectivity

The iPhone 18 Pro includes Apple’s N1 wireless networking chip, supporting Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread.

It also introduces Apple’s C2 cellular modem, designed to improve cellular efficiency and upload performance compared with the previous C1X modem.

USB-C provides wired charging and connectivity.

Battery & Charging

Battery efficiency benefits from the new A20 Pro architecture and redesigned internal hardware. Apple states that eSIM-only iPhone 18 Pro models can provide up to 36 hours of video playback.

With compatible charging equipment, iPhone 18 Pro can reach up to 50% charge in around 15 minutes.

The available device is in Open Box condition and comes with 85%–88% battery health, depending on the individual unit.

Actual battery performance varies according to battery condition, network use, applications, brightness, temperature, and individual usage.

Durability

The iPhone 18 Pro carries an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, tested for a maximum depth of 6 metres for up to 30 minutes under controlled laboratory conditions.

It also features Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and Ceramic Shield protection on the back for additional everyday durability.

Storage Options

The Apple iPhone 18 Pro is available in:

• 256GB
• 512GB
• 1TB
• 2TB

The larger capacities are particularly useful for users capturing high-resolution photography and professional video or storing large games, applications, and offline media.

Everyday Experience

The iPhone 18 Pro combines Apple’s latest Pro technologies in a manageable 6.3-inch form factor. The A20 Pro chip, 120Hz ProMotion display, redesigned Dynamic Island, variable-aperture 48MP Main camera, triple 48MP camera system, 8x optical-quality Telephoto, 18MP Center Stage camera, new Pro controls, and next-generation thermal system make it a substantial upgrade for photography, content creation, gaming, and demanding everyday use.
