10.2-inch Retina Display

The iPad 9th Generation features a 10.2-inch Retina IPS display with a resolution of 2160 × 1620 pixels at 264 ppi and brightness of up to 500 nits. It provides a spacious screen for streaming movies, attending online classes, browsing websites, reading, working with documents, and using creative applications.

Apple also added True Tone, which automatically adjusts the display’s colour temperature according to ambient lighting. This can make the screen more comfortable to view in different environments.

A13 Bionic Performance

The iPad 9 is powered by Apple’s A13 Bionic chip with Neural Engine. Apple stated at launch that the A13 Bionic delivered a 20% performance boost over the previous generation, improving CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine performance.

12MP Ultra Wide Front Camera

One of the biggest upgrades over the iPad 8 is its 12MP Ultra Wide front camera with a 122-degree field of view.
