Apple reduced the display borders and increased the screen area compared with the previous generation. This provides more room for watch faces, notifications, messages, fitness information, and compatible apps.

Series 7 is available in 41mm and 45mm case sizes, replacing the 40mm and 44mm sizes used by Series 6.

The display reaches up to 1,000 nits of brightness when active and remains visible in Always-On mode.

Apple S7 SiP

Apple Watch Series 7 is powered by the Apple S7 SiP with a 64-bit dual-core processor.

It provides responsive performance for everyday watchOS functions, including apps, notifications, calls, messages, workouts, health monitoring, navigation, music controls, and Siri.

Blood Oxygen Monitoring

Apple Watch Series 7 includes a Blood Oxygen sensor and supports the Blood Oxygen app where available.

The sensor uses LEDs and photodiodes on the back crystal to estimate blood oxygen saturation.

Blood Oxygen functionality is intended for general wellness and fitness purposes and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical equipment.

ECG & Heart Monitoring

Series 7 features an electrical heart sensor and optical heart sensor.

The electrical heart sensor enables the ECG app in supported countries and regions.

The watch can also provide high and low heart rate notifications and irregular rhythm notifications, helping users monitor certain heart-related information from their wrist.

Fitness & Workout Tracking

Apple Watch Series 7 supports a wide variety of workouts and everyday activity tracking.

Depending on the activity, it can track information such as heart rate, calories, distance, pace, workout duration, and GPS route information.

Apple’s Activity system also tracks daily movement, exercise, and standing goals.

Built-In GPS, Compass & Altimeter

Built-in GPS/GNSS allows outdoor workouts and location data to be recorded without depending on the paired iPhone for GPS positioning.

Series 7 also includes a built-in Compass and an always-on altimeter, providing useful direction and elevation information for compatible activities and apps.

Fall Detection & Emergency SOS

Apple Watch Series 7 supports Fall Detection, which can detect certain hard falls and provide options to contact emergency services.

It also includes Emergency SOS, allowing users to quickly contact emergency services where supported.

GPS + Cellular models can provide additional connectivity away from a paired iPhone when used with a compatible carrier and active cellular plan.

GPS & GPS + Cellular Options

Apple Watch Series 7 is available in two main configurations:

GPS – Includes built-in GPS and connects through Wi-Fi and a paired iPhone for supported communication features.

GPS + Cellular – Adds cellular connectivity, allowing supported calls, messages, streaming, and other functionality without requiring the paired iPhone to remain nearby.

Cellular functionality depends on the specific watch, carrier, region, and active plan.

Improved Durability

Apple Watch Series 7 was designed with improved durability compared with previous generations.

The front crystal was redesigned to be more crack resistant, while the watch also carries an IP6X dust-resistance rating.

It is water resistant to 50 metres under ISO standard 22810:2010, making it suitable for shallow-water activities such as swimming.

It is not designed for scuba diving or high-velocity water activities.

Faster Charging

Series 7 introduced faster charging compared with previous Apple Watch generations when used with compatible fast-charging equipment.

Apple stated that Series 7 could charge up to 33% faster than Series 6.

A compatible USB-C magnetic fast charging cable and suitable USB-C power adapter are required to achieve fast-charging performance.

Battery Life & Battery Health

Apple rated Apple Watch Series 7 for up to 18 hours of all-day battery life under its standard testing conditions.

Our Open Box Apple Watch Series 7 units come with 85%–88% Battery Health.

Actual battery runtime varies depending on battery condition, Always-On display usage, workouts, cellular connectivity, notifications, apps, settings, and other usage conditions.

Connectivity & Storage

Apple Watch Series 7 supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, along with GPS/GNSS. GPS + Cellular models additionally support compatible cellular connectivity.

The watch includes 32GB of internal storage for apps and supported content.

It integrates with compatible iPhones for notifications, messages, calls, Siri, Apple Pay, fitness information, music controls, and supported apps.
